Mt Buller Art
This great mural, located on the second floor of the Administration
building of Mt Buller Ski Lifts, Mt Buller, was completed by Lina in 2006.
She started it in October 2005, after she was told by one of the managers of
Buller Ski Lifts that the Kids Centre might might need a colourful
mural, depicting the mountain and the Ski School Mascots.
Lina approached management with her idea and initial drawing and received
the commission, much to her delight.
The mural itself is done on 4 sheets of marine ply and is 5.6m x2.4m and
executed in Haymes paints and oil paint.
Lina gained some of her inspiration from some of the historic posters of Mt
Buller.
The mural also features the endangered Pygmy Possum, and "Barry".
